Ensure that the use of the light does not dazzle anyone - either you, your
colleagues or third parties, e.g. passing vehicle drivers - by selecting a suitable
setup location for the light, and possibly by switching off half of the lights (selector
switch in position “I”).
The light housing heats up during operation to around 55°C. The light can still
be touched with bare hands. We recommend always using gloves, however, when
handling the light. If the housing of the light cannot be touched with bare hands, a
fault has occurred and the light must be sent in to us for checking.
When reassembling the lights and stand during your work, all safety-relevant
instructions in this document must be observed.
Control elements / displays
The light has a selector switch on its underside. This can be used to
• operate all lights (position II, all-round illumination) and
• operate half of the lights (position I, illumination only on one side).
When set up correctly, this can be used to reduce the dazzling of passing vehicle
drivers, for example.
The user must also connect and disconnect the mains voltage supply cable using a
plug connector on the underside of the light.
Other than these, the light has no other control elements.
During normal operation, you may hear a soft operating noise coming from the
internal fan. The fan always runs when the power supply is connected, even if the
light - either due to the switch position or the internal overheating switch - has been
switched completely or partly off.
Ending use / transport
First disconnect the mains voltage.
Be careful. The light may be hot. Immediately after switch-off, there is a risk of
burning. Allow it to cool before dismantling it any further if necessary.
Retract the stand or remote the light from its hanging fixture. Detach the power
supply cable.
Check the light and accessories for any visible damage. If damage is evident, make
a note of this so that it can be repaired - ideally do this so it is visible on the outside
of the transport case.
Place all components - ideally already cleaned - back in the transport case.
Transport the light and the accessories only in the light's transport case.
