Area of use and functions
The ApolloLED 2 is a universal light for operation on a professional stand or for
attachment to a supporting structure used during construction.
It can be operated in enclosed spaces or outdoors.
To avoid dazzling passing vehicle drivers, the light has a selector switch. This can
be used to
• operate all lights (position II, all-round illumination) and
• operate half of the lights (position I, illumination only on one side).
To protect against overheating, the light has a built-in temperature switch.
If the temperature inside the light exceeds a set value, the temperature switch turns
the light off. The internal fan continues to run. When the temperature inside the light
then falls below a set value, the temperature switch turns the light back on
automatically. This behavior is independent of the presence of a mains voltage.
You should therefore ensure that the self-actuated switching back on of the
light does not result in a hazard to the surrounding area (sudden dazzle effect, etc.).
Ensure that the air exchange through the light is not blocked.
