Inspec on:
To
maintain

periodically
inspect
the
water

lter.
To
clean
the
water
fi
lter
follow
the
cleaning
procedure
described
in
Step
C.
If
the
water
fi
lter
appears
damaged,
contact
a
quali
fi
ed
service
provider
for
a
replacement
fi
lter
(Part
No.
107000032)

is
an
indica on
that
the
water
fi
lter
is
dirty
or
restric ng
water
fl
ow
thru
the
water
heater.
Although
the
water
heater
will
con nue
to
operate
the
cleaning
procedure
described
in
Step
C
should
be
performed
as
soon
as
possible.
Flashing
63
is
an
indica on
that
the
water
fi
lter
is
blocked
and
the
appliance
can
no
longer
con nue
to
heat
water.
Follow
the
cleaning
procedure
described
in
Step
C.
If
the
controller
con nues
to
fl
ash
the
error
code
a er
cleaning
the
water
fi
lter,
turn
o
ff
the
unit
and
contact
a
quali
fi
ed
service
provider
as
this
may
indicate
a
pump
error.
C.
Cleaning:
1.
Power
OFF
the
water
heater
Push
the
round
power
bu on
located
on
the
right
hand
side
of
the
controller.
Display
will
go
blank
when
the
power
is
o
ff
.
2.
Remove
the
lower
enclosure.
Remove
the
screws
around
the
perimeter
of
the
pump
enclosure
Remove
the
enclosure
by
fi
rst
pulling
away
the
bo om
por on.
3.
Drain
and
Relieve
pressure
from
the
system
Close
the
cold
water
supply
valve
on
the
water
heater
Open
any
hot
water
fi
xture
and
leave
open
to
allow
draining
A ach
one
end
of
a
hose
to
the
drain
valve
and
posi on
the
other
end
of
the
hose
at
a
near
by
drain.
4.
Remove
the
fi
lter
by
turning
the
thumb
screw
in
a
counterclockwise
mo on.
5.
Clean
the
fi
lter
and
remove
any
debris
that
may
reduce
water
fl
ow.
6.
Replace
the
fi
lter.
Turn
the
thumb
screw
in
clockwise
direc on
un l
fi
nger
ght.
7.
Close
the
drain
valve
and
open
the
cold
water
supply
valve
leaving
the
hot
water
fi
xture
open
un l
all
air
is
out
of
the
system
8.
Power
ON
the
water
heater
and
set
to
desired
temperature.
9.
Close
the
hot
water
fi
xture
when
fi
nished.
