INTERMITTENT DRAINAGE(fig.24 and fig.25) 

• Turn the air conditioner off, then drain the water tank by unplugging the drain cap and allowing the

water to flow onto the drain pan. The drain pan will not hold !he full contents of !he water tank. A 

number of fills of the drain pan are required.  lt may be easier (after 3 or 4 pans have been drained in

arder to avoid accidental spillage when moving !he air conditioner) to wheel !he unit outside, remove

the drain cap and drain the water onto the ground freely. 

•  The water tank is considered sufficiently when no more water flows from !he drain outlet to completely

drain all water from !he water tank, tilt the unit by lifting it slightly upwards from !he front until no more 

water drains from the outlet.

•  Restar! !he air conditioner by pressing !he on/off bullan. Ensure that !he unit is in COOL, DRY or

HEAT mode. The compressor will start approximately 3 minutes after the unit is switched on. 

CONTINUOUS  DRAINAGE (fig.26 and fig.27) 

When operating in HEAT mode, continuous drain method can also be used to avoid the trouble of 

manual drainage. 

•  Empty the water tank completely.

•  Connect one end of the drain hose on !he drain outlet, and lead the other end to outdoor or and

place where can be drained freely.

•  Turn on !he appliance and select HEAT mode. 

When continuous drainage method adopted in HEAT mode, the water removed from the air flows out

through !he drain hose continuously.

NOTE 

Please be sure that the height of and section of the drain hose should not be higher !han that of the 

drain outlet, or !he water tank may no! be drained.
