The rain gauges with analog or SDI-12 output option are equipped with a temperature sen-
sor which detects the internal temperature of the instrument (
not the air temperature
). The
temperature value can be read via the serial commands S1 / S2 or, in the rain gauges with
SDI-12 output option, via the appropriate SDI-12 command described in the paragraph
“SDI-12 protocol”.
