PROBLEM

PROBABLE CAUSE

REMEDY

3.   The motor stops while 

working and the machine 

alarm buzzer is triggered

The thermal protection has tripped 

due to overheating of the motor

Wait for at least 5 minutes and then restart

 

the machine

Thermal protection has tripped due to 

excessive current absorption caused by:

• 

excessively high grass cutting

•  obstructions that prevent 

rotation of the cutting means

• 

too much grass debris accumulated in 

the chassis and discharge channel

• 

Set a higher cutting height when the 

grass is very tall, then set a lower 

height and cut the lawn again

• 

Remove the obstructions (par. 7.3.2)

• 

Clean the machine (par. 7.3.1)

Wait for at least 5 minutes and then restart

 

the machine

4.  The motor is running 

but the cutting means 

is stationary

The cutting means fittings are loose

Immediately turn off the motor 

and remove the safety key.

Contact an authorised Technical Assistance 

Centre for correct fastening support (par. 8.1)

5.  The cut grass is 

not collected in the 

grass catcher

The cutting means has collided with a 

foreign object and received a knock

Turn off the motor 

and remove the safety key. 

Inspect for damage and

Contact a Technical Assistance Centre 

for the replacement of the cutting 

means if necessary. (par. 8.1) 

The inside of the chassis is dirty

Clean the inside of the chassis to 

ease the grass discharge towards 

the grass catcher (par. 7.3.2)

Mowing is difficult

The cutting means is not 

in good condition

Contact a Technical Assistance 

Centre for the sharpening or 

replacement of the cutting means

Excessive noise 

and/or vibration 

is experienced 

whilst working

Cutting means fittings are loose or 

the cutting means is damaged

Immediately turn off the motor 

and remove the safety key.

Contact an authorised Technical 

Assistance Centre for checks, 

replacements or repairs (par. 8.2)

Battery power

Recharge the battery in places with 

suitable temperatures (see battery/

battery charger instruction manual)

Dirty contacts

Clean the contacts

The battery charger is not energised

Check it is plugged in and the 

power socket is energised

Faulty battery charger

Replace with an original spare part

If the problem persists, refer to the battery/

battery charger manual

If problems persist after having performed the above operations, contact your dealer.
