H. Control lever
: starts/stops the
motor and simultaneously engages/
disengages the cutting means

wheel drive and allows the machine to move forward.

The key
enables / disables the machine electric circuit.

(if it is not supplied with the
machine, see chapter 15 “accessories on

4. ASSEMBLY
The safety regulations to follow are
described in chap. 2. Strictly comply with these
instructions to avoid serious risks or hazards.
For storage and transport purposes, some components of
the machine are not installed in the factory and have to be
assembled after unpacking. Follow the instructions below.
Unpacking and completing the assembly should
be done on a flat and stable surface, with enough
space for machine handling and its packaging,
always making use of suitable equipment. Do not
use the machine until all the indications provided
in the "ASSEMBLY" section have been carried out.
4.1 ASSEMBLY COMPONENTS
The packaging includes assembly components.
4.1.1 Unpacking
1.
Carefully open the packaging, paying
attention not to lose components.
2.
Consult the documentation in the box,
including these instructions.
3.
Remove all the unassembled parts from the box.
4.
Dispose of the box and packaging in
accordance with local regulations.
Before assembling, make sure the
safety key is not inserted in its housing.
4.2 HANDLE ASSEMBLY
Assemble the handle as illustrated in (Fig. 3).
4.3 GRASS-CATCHER ASSEMBLY
1.
With the plastic part (Fig. 4.A) upside down,
fasten the frame (Fig. 4.B) to the plastic
part using the screws (Fig. 4.C).
2.
Insert the frame (Fig. 4.B) in the
grass-catcher (Fig. 4.D)
3.
Fasten all the plastic profiles (Fig. 4.E) using
a screwdriver, as indicated in the figure.
4.
Firmly press the perimeter edge (Fig. 4.F)
of the frame into the slots on the plastic part
(Fig. 4.A), starting 5-7 mm from the end.
5. CONTROLS
5.1 SAFETY KEY (DEACTIVATION DEVICE)
The key found inside the battery compartment enables
/ disables the machine electric circuit (Fig. 5.A).
Removing the key, the electric circuit is completely
deactivated to prevent uncontrolled use of the machine.
IMPORTANT
Remove the safety key whenever
the machine is unused or left unattended.
5.2 CONTROL LEVER
The control lever
starts/stops the motor and
simultaneously engages/disengages the cutting means
.
The positions indicated correspond to:
1. Run.
To start the motor, press the
safety button (Fig. 6.A), pull one of the
two levers (Fig.
6.B
), and wait for 2-3
seconds for the motor to start running
.
2.
Ignition of the motor simultaneously
engages the cutting means.
3. Stop.
The motor stops when both
levers (fig. 6.B) are released.
5.3
DRIVE ENGAGEMENT LEVER
This engages the wheel drive and allows
the machine to move forward.
1. Drive engaged.
Push the lever
towards the handle for forward
movement (Fig. 7.A). The
lawnmower stops moving forward
when the lever is released.
IMPORTANT
The motor must always
be running with the drive disengaged.
IMPORTANT
To prevent damage to
the transmission, do not pull the machine
backwards with the drive engaged.
5.4 CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Lower or raise the chassis to cut the
grass at different heights.
Do this when the cutting means is stationary.
The cutting height is adjusted
by the
specific lever (Fig
. 8.A).
