Important Information
I
Electrostatic discharge caused by touching the
board can damage certain components.
We recommend installing the necessary precau-
tions, such as an antistatic workplace, appropriate
connection to a metal waterpipe, etc.

To warrant adequate protection against accidental
contact per DIN/EN 60355-1, the external cable
installation should be insulated accordingly, i.e.
protected against contact.
Attention:

This manual is not to be applied alone, but should
be used in conjunction with the instruction manual
for the valve onto which the actuator is mounted or
shall be mounted.

Work on the actuator may only be done by an
authorized technician.

According to the machine guideline 98/37/EG
(previously 89/392/EWG), these actuators/valves
are not considered machines, but may be built into
an installation which is considered a machine.
Under such circumstances, the following infor-
mation must be noted.

until it has been made certain that the machine
(equipment), into which this product has been built,
corresponds to the regulations of the EC Machine
Guideline 98/37/EG (previously 89/392/EWG).
