BEFORE FIRST USE: Wash all removable parts in hot, soapy
water. Rinse and dry. Brew one cycle and discard water.
NOTE: The unit may produce a pumping sound when a cup
size has been selected. This is normal. The sound tells you
that water is pumped for brewing espresso.
NOTES:
• Only use Nespresso and other compatible
espresso capsules.
• During brewing, never lift the handle.
Otherwise the espresso capsule will be
expelled into the used capsule container.

1. Fill removable water reservoir
with water. Do not exceed the
MAX fill line.
2. Place a cup on the cup rest
with drip tray.
3. Plug into outlet.
4. Press the power switch to the
ON (I) position. Both espresso
and lungo cup buttons will
start to flash.
5. Lift the handle after both cup
buttons stop flashing.
6. Insert an espresso capsule
according to the cutout on the
top of the unit.
7. Push down handle.
