• For EU countries only: do not dispose of electrical tools in your household waste. In accor-
dance with European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment
and its promulgation in national law, used electrical tools must be collected separately and
recycled in an environment-friendly manner. If battery packs need to be replaced, please
observe the following:
•
Never discard used battery packs into household waste, fire or water!
• Used battery packs contain large amounts of valuable raw materials and plastics that
can also be recycled.
• Return defective or used battery packs to the GESIPA
®
dealer or GESIPA

• Discharge the battery pack in the tool before returning. Protect the contacts against
short-circuit.
• Follow national regulations on environment-friendly disposal and
recycling of machines which are no longer in service, packaging
and accessories.
• Transport of Li ion battery packs: The shipment of Li ion battery packs is subject to the
hazardous goods regulations (UN 3480 and UN 3481). Familiarise yourself with the latest
