6.1 Establishing a Network Connection (DHCP-Based)
If your network settings are DHCP based, simply
connect the printer through a patch cable to
your local network. Doing so, the X500pro gets
automatically assigned an IP address.
You can see the printer´s assigned IP address on
the touch display in the menu
Network
.
The printer has an
internal
and an
external
IP-Address. Use the
external
IP-Address in order
to connect to your 3D printer.
Each of this IP adresse is linked to one of the
ethernet connectors on the rear side of the
printer.
Scan the QR-Code to control your 3D printer
using a mobile device.
6.2 Establishing a Direct Connection (Via Router)
If it is not possible to integrate your 3D printer into you local network, you can connect to it with you
computer using a DHCP-based router.
Fist connect the router to the power supply and afterwards connect your 3D printer as well as your
computer to it. Both devices will get IP-addresses assigned, which you can read out as described above.
7. Repetier-Server

access your printer from everywhere so it is possible to upload and manage G-Codes from remote. Here it is
