INSTALLATION
The filter can be found packaged inside the Air Purifier. It is recommended to
replace the filter every six months to maintain optimal performance.
Installing the Filter
1.
Unplug the Hygia 4.0 from the electrical outlet.
2.
Unplug the electrical cord from the Hygia 4.0.
3.
Turn unit over so the filter door faces you.

Levels of filtration include:
1.
Charcoal filter removes odors and smoke.
2.
HEPA filter captures 99.9% of airborne particles.
3.
PCO filter captures and dissolves airborne allergens and mold.
4.
Ionizer - Emits small amount of ions to freshen the air.
Cleaning the Unit
WARNING: To avoid serious injury from electric shock, the unit
must be turned OFF and unplugged from the power outlet prior
to any cleaning.
1.
TURN THE UNIT OFF AND UNPLUG THE UNIT FROM THE
POWER OUTLET.
2.
Clean unit with a damp soft cloth only. DO NOT pour or splash
water on the unit or use any abrasive type cleaner. Clean all
external surfaces, especially the air intake grills and air outlet.
3.
Reposition the unit, plug power cord into power outlet and
turn ON.
4.
Using a coin, turn the round
filter release button to the left
so the line in the center is
facing vertically.
5.
Release the door.
6.
Gently pull filter from unit
and remove bag.
7.
Replace filter into compartment.
8.
To install new filter reverse steps 1-6.
