4.4.5 Maintenance - Configuration 

You can manage the system configuration files here in this section. The switch 
stores its system settings in a number of text files in CLI format. There are three 
system files:   

 

Running-config:

 A virtual file that represents the currently active 

configuration on the switch. This file is volatile and will be lost if the switch 
reboots if it is not saved as the startup-config.   

 

Startup-config:

 The startup configuration for the switch, which will be read 

 This file
