4.5.9 Crowd Density

Crowd Density function is to detect the number of people in the surveillance scene. Alarms
will be triggered when crowd density exceeds the set threshold. Note that this function is only
applicable to GV-BX2802.

The setting steps are as follows:

1. Go to Config

→

Event

→

Crowd Density as shown below.

2. Enable the crowd density detection function.

Refresh Frequency:

Select the frequency for refreshing crowd density data.

Density Alarm Threshold

: Set the crowd density threshold to trigger the alarm.

Set alarm holding time and alarm trigger options. The alarm trigger setup steps are the same
as motion detection setup. Please refer to

4.4.1 Motion Detection

for details.
