Model TA502A
F8: Failed to complete setup
This fault may occur during or immediately after the Setup Mode. If this fault occurs,
consult the factory or your GM Representative.
In each of the fault cases listed, when the fault occurs the FUA output is activated.
Pressing the ACCEPT button on the Facilities Module (FM002A) will acknowledge
the fault, de-activate the FUA output and the fault LED will stop flashing and remain
ON until the fault is corrected.
3.11 Communications
By using a General Monitors Model CC02A Communications Module as a
communications bridge, the Model TA502A can communicate to a PLC or DCS
system using a RS-485 Modbus interface. This allows remote access to data, such
as: gas concentration at the remote gas detector, fault and alarm status, and
operating mode. It also simplifies setups and modification of user selectable options,
such as, alarm settings and card test settings. Please see the Model CC02A
Instruction Manual for the details of this interface.
