BRIDGING CIRCUITS
•
Compile an end-to-end Loss Plan for the whole network.
•
Working off-line, but with the CELP (or other loads) connected to the
ports, adjust the Bridge insertion losses to within 0.1 dB if possible.
All dBm meters are to be in Bridged mode.
•
Starting at each talker end, adjust the VF signal levels from each Sta-
tion to the nearest Bridge Circuit.
•
Finally, adjust the VF signal levels between the Bridging Circuits.
All levels should now be according to the Loss Plan.
•
If any levels should become disturbed, then this procedure should be
repeated.
•
Ensure that all acoustical feedback paths are eliminated.
