Normal operating range
This unit is tested in accordance to UL 2200 standards with an operating temperature of -29 °C (-20
°F) to 50 °C (122 °F). For areas where temperatures fall below 0 °C (32 °F), a cold weather kit is
recommended. There may be a decrease in engine power when operated above 25 °C (77 °F).
(Please reference the engine specifications section.)
These generators are rated in accordance with UL 2200, Safety Standard for Stationary Engine Generator Assemblies, and CSA-C22.2 No. 100-04
Standard for Motors and Generators.
* Natural gas ratings will depend on specific fuel BTU / joules content. Typical derates are between 10–20% of the LP gas rating.
** Circuits to be moved must be protected by same size breaker. For example, a 15A circuit in the main panel must be a 15A circuit in the transfer
switch.

Engine power is subject to and limited by such factors as fuel BTU/joules, ambient temperature and altitude. Engine power decreases approxi-
mately 3.5% for each 304.8 m (1,000 ft) above sea level, and also will decrease approximately 1% for each 6 °C (10 °F) above 15 °C (60 °F) ambi-
ent temperature.
