The blower switch activates the blower motor. Depressing the blower switch activates
the blower motor.   The light on the switch illuminates when the switch is on.  Depress
the switch again to turn the switch off.  The primary function of the blower fan is to

remove any fumes from the bilge area. The blower also draws fresh air into the engine
compartment.

Never depend solely on the blower to eliminate dangerous fumes. Before starting the
engine,  always  open  the  motor  box  to  check  if  fumes  are  present.  Switch  on  the

blower fan a minimum of four minutes before starting the engine.

IMPORTANT

If  the  blower  fails  to  operate,  reset  the  circuit  breaker.  If  the  blower  still  does  not

operate, notify your Gekko dealer.

DANGER !

Failure  to  operate  the  blower  in  accordance  with  Coast  Guard  Recommendations

could result in an explosion.

Bilge Pump Switch

TOP

The  bilge  pump  switch activates the  bilge  pump.  Depressing the  bilge  pump  switch
activates the bilge pump.    The light on the switch illuminates when the switch is on.
Depress the switch again to turn the switch off.

 

The automatic pump function is engaged at all other times so that any excess water 

inthe bilge may automatically be pumped out.
