9. PC Management Software

With the PC management software, you can easily set up a large number of devices and
receivers on your handheld transmitter with display. Below please find some tips on how to use
the software.

9.1 Software installation

The software GF0043-50 is compatible with the operating systems Microsoft Windows 7,
Windows Vista or Windows XP.

Please first install the

.Net-Framework 3.5

from the enclosed CD-ROM.

Then, install the GF0043-50 software by running the program called GF0043-50-Setup.exe.

When the installation is completed, you can connect your transmitter to your computer with the
included USB cable. The first time, a short message indicates that a new hardware is found.
Please make sure to first install the software and the driver and then connect the device.

You can now start the software for managing your handheld transmitter.

9.2 Overview GF0043-50 Management software

You can create customers and sites in the interface. Up to five areas with 10 devices each
(GF0050) or up to 3 areas with 6 devices each (GF0043) can be assigned to each site.

9.3 Devices and areas

You can assign devices (receivers) to different areas such as „downstairs“, „first floor“ or
„garden“. Select one area on your handheld transmitter. Only the devices are shown which are
assigned to the area you are in.
