Connect the electrofusion machine to the supply voltage. The
<Mains connection> LED display lights up (see figure A,
rear cover page).

Connect the sleeve connection cable to the electrofusion
coupling or the electrofusion tape for anchor point. The
<Ready for welding> LED display lights up (see figure B,
rear cover page).

Press the start button. The <Welding procedure> LED
display lights up and the <Ready for welding> LED display
goes out (see figure C, rear cover page).
The Geberit electrofusion machine ESG 3 is equipped with
an automatic mechanism which prevents a double weld
when a sleeve connection cable is connected.
The welding time is adjusted automatically in accordance
with the ambient temperature.
