INTERFACES

The controller GCT-4663 contains two USB full speed interfaces.

Avoid connecting cables when the power supply is switched on. If this is not possible, make sure that the USB interface is always
connected after the power supply has been plugged in.

Detailed controller information is available from the hardware description HaMAN-E-0813, which can be requested from GeBE via
email (

[email protected]

).

7.1

USB INTERFACE

The   suitable   interface   cable   has   to   be   connected   at
horizontal   application   to   the   socket   (2/figure   2)   or   at
vertical application to the socket (3/figure 2). On the other
side directly to an USB connection (COM port of a PC).

IMPORTANT: Only connection J2 or J212 may be used.

Suitable   connection   cable:   please   refer   to  chapter

The USB device class is consistent with the "Printer Class".
After the PC is plugged in, it reports "USB printer support"
and installs an "USB00x" USB port. During the installation
of  the printer driver, it has to be allocated to the USB port.
