

Prior to establishing electrical connections check the maximum permissible oper-
ating voltage.

An explosion can result in serious personal injury or death.



Observe the installation and operating regulations for use in potentially explosive
areas.

Carry out the following steps:

Pass the cable through the cable gland and connect it according to the wiring
diagram (in the protection cap of the positioner). Observe the operating instructions
for the positioner.

Tighten the strain-relief device on the cable gland.


