20  V7865 Hardware Reference Manual

1.5 Jumper Settings

CMOS Password

To clear the CMOS password:

1.  Turn off power to the unit.

2.  Momentarily short the pins of E11 for approximately five seconds.

3.  Power up the unit.

When power is reapplied to the unit, the CMOS password will be cleared.
