3.3.1 Assigning/Re-assigning a Function Key
The function keys can be assigned using two methods as described below.
Note:
You can re-assign the function key at any time by assigning a
different function.
3.3.1a Method 1: Using the Site Manager

If the menu is not active, press
[MENU]
.

Use the arrow key to scroll to
Site
and press [ENTER] .

Use the arrow key to scroll to
FKeys
and press
[ENTER]
.
4.
Use the arrow keys to scroll to the desired key and press [ENTER] .
5.
Use the arrow keys to scroll to the desired function from the displayed
list.
6.
Press
[F3]
( YES ).
The PM880 returns to taking measurements. The newly assigned function
appears above the assigned function key.
3.3.1b Method 2: Using the Program Menus
1.
Use the keypad to go to the function that you want to assign to the
function key.
2.
Press the desired function key. A window appears with the question,
“Assign current menu command (XX) to FKeyX?”
3.
Press
[F3]
( OK ).
The PM880 returns to taking measurements. The newly assigned function
appears above the assigned function key.
