Assembly of BioProcess LPLC and MPLC columns

Introduction

This section describes how to level the column and lock the wheels before making further
adjustments and process connections.

Precautions

CAUTION

Moving the system on a sloping surface requires at least two per-
sons.

NOTICE

Place the column on an even surface.

Positioning the column

A forklift or Master Mover may be used to move the column into its operational position.

Use wooden blocks between the forks of the forklift and the column during
manouvering to protect the bottom of the column.
