Step
Remove the bolts and fittings holding the distributor in place on the lower
surface of the bottom end plate. These bolts and distributor fittings are
easily removed using a Hex/Allen key.

Mount for one of the fittings used to bolt the liquid distributor in
place on the bottom end plate.

Remove the liquid distributor by applying compressed air via the bottom
mobile phase inlet. The compressed air will cause the liquid distributor to
rise upwards.

Remove the O-ring from the liquid distributor and clean the surfaces of the
liquid distributor with 100% ethanol.

Place a new O-ring on the liquid distributor and replace the distributor fittings
in their mounts.

Lower the liquid distributor onto the bottom end plate and bolt it into position.

Mount a new O-ring into the groove on the outer circumference of the bottom
end plate.

Set a new bed support O-ring in place in the upper groove of the bottom
end plate.
