Alarm/contact connectors
Figure 18
shows the descriptions for the alarm/contact terminals at the bottom edge of the housing board. The
inside of the camera housing has a color-coded label to help you determine which terminal is which. These
connectors are only available on alarm models.

Note:
Use dry contacts for alarms. This unit’s relays are rated to a maximum operating voltage of 30 VAC or 30 VDC at 0.5 A.

• Blinks at a fast rate (7 Hz) when FSK (frequency shift keying) decoder is
tuning.
• Blinks at a slow rate (0.5 Hz) when decoder is locked and receiving.

Red
No indication; not connected.
Green
Indicates communication activity:
• Blinks at a fast rate (7 Hz) when processor is active but idle.
• Blinks irregularly—at various rates—during communication between the
PTZ and the housing interface board.
