MAC Address

—Hardware address of the Remote transceiver.

•

IP Address

—IP Address of the Remote transceiver.

•

State

—Current association state of the Remote transceiver.

•

AgeTime

—Time, in minutes, remaining before the device (address)

will be deleted from the table.

Each transceiver maintains a table with the addresses of the devices
it communicates with. The age-time countdown is restarted to 5
minutes every time a message to/from that device is detected. If no
traf

c is exchanged with that device, it then “ages out” of the table.

When traf

c is detected it is included again in the table. This opti-

mizes memory space utilization.
