Appropriate Usage
•
The warming zones and the warming porcelain become hot when the device is in operation. Wear appropriate
protective equipment when touching the porcelain to protect yourself from the risk of being burnt.
•
The warming zones should not be left unattended when they are in operation.
•
Should any hot fats, oils or other flammable fluids or materials catch fire, use a fire blanket to smother the flames.
Do not use water under any circumstances!
•
Do not use the warming plates to heat rooms or spaces.
•
Use only induction-compatible pots, such as the InductWarm®-porcelain, when you are keeping hot meals and
dishes warm.
•
The warming zones must be kept clean. There should be no residual objects present on the surface of the device
when it is being used. If any solid or liquid objects are present on the device, they must be immediately cleaned
up and taken care of.
•
Neither the warming pots nor any other objects should be allowed to fall onto the warming zones as this could
damage the warming zone. Please also consider that even small objects could damage the warming zone.
•
Please ensure that the induction-compatible pot is always positioned in the middle of the element so that the
bottom of the pot will cover the electromagnetic field as far as possible.
•
Please note that pots and dishes can, under certain circumstances, become very hot. The warmth that is created in
the bottom of the pot can become so great that, due to the reflective effect, both the warming field and the glass
plate will also heat up. This could lead to a risk of burns.
•
No inflammable liquids or aerosol cans containing highly inflammable contents should be stored within a radius
of 1 metre of the device. Never place inflammable objects on, or above, the warming field.
•
Always protect your hands when working with potentially hot components or with the InductWarm® porcelain
by wearing thermally insulated gloves, pot holders or other similar safety equipment.
•
Do not store any hard or pointed objects above the warming zone of your device. Should these objects fall down,
they could cause damage to the warming zone or to the glass plate.
•
Incorrectly carried out repairs endanger your safety and could lead to further damage to the device. Never carry
out repairs on the device or on the elements by yourself – instead contact the manufacturer whenever any defects
with the device become apparent.
•
The manufacturer‘s guarantee will be invalidated should the InductWarm® element or the InductWarm® remote
control be otherwise opened up or should one of the previously mentioned or following safety precautions not be
observed.
•
After being stored in a cold room, any moisture contained in the room air will condense on the surface and inside
the table. If the device is connected to the power supply, there is a danger of a short circuit or of an electric shock
due to the film of moisture. The device should only be used after it has first reached room temperature.
•
The cooling fan is located behind the cooling vents on the side of the element. Warning: paper, aluminium foil
or other similar materials should not be allowed in close proximity to these vents. There is a risk that any such
