Technical Safety Guidelines
Inspection when Unpacking
Inspect the warming device immediately after it is unpacked for any visible signs of damage. If there are any visible signs
of damage on the device, then on no account should it be installed or put into operation. Please contact our customer
services (see page 23) immediately.
Protective Earthing System
A protective earthing system installed correctly according to regulations must be present to ensure that the device can
be used safely. The device should not be used without this safety precaution. There is a risk of electric shocks.
Voltage and Frequency of Electricity Supply
It is essential to check that the voltage and the frequency of your electricity supply matches with that of the InductWarm®
product before it is connected to the power supply.
Installed State
The induction unit should only be switched on when it is in a fully installed state. Proper functioning of the unit cannot
be guaranteed if this is not the case.
Repairing the InductWarm® System
Repairs should only be carried out by trained technical personnel. The technician will need to have been certified and
authorised by Gastros.
Installation and Maintenance Work
Devices must be disconnected from the power grid when installation or maintenance work is to be carried out. To
perform this, do not just pull the plug from the socket, a firm grip on the plug case should be used when it is removed
from the power supply socket.
Replacements or Partial Replacements for Defective Parts
Defect parts must be replaced only with original Gastros replacement parts. If other replacement parts are used, then
Gastros cannot guarantee the safety of the device and the guarantee will be invalidated.
Damaged Power Connection
If the power connection is damaged, it should be repaired by a qualified technician immediately.
Multiple Plugs and Extension Cables
The warming devices should not be operated with multiple plugs or extension cables due to the risk of overheating.
