For this, pierce your food via the supplied fondue forks. Then carefully insert your
food into the fondue pot and hang the fondue forks holding your food into the
forks holder or turn your food within the hot fondue sauce.
WARNING
– When removing the food from the fondue pot, beware of
steam escaping. Additionally, hot liquid could drip from the food. When the gril-
ling plate is hot, liquids dripping from the food could splash vigorously. Ensure that
all persons present keep their hands and arms in appropriate distance. Additional-
ly, always keep your hands and arms in sufficient distance to the grilling plate,
when reaching for the fondue pot. Before removing the fondue forks from the fon-
due pot,
check whether the handles of the fondue forks are hot.
Keep in mind
that the supplied fondue forks are pointed.
8. Leave your food cook to the desired doneness. Then, keeping sufficient distance
to the grilling plate, take out your food. If required, ensure that the handles of
the fondue forks are not hot to the touch.
GRILLING
WARNING
– The grilling plate will be very hot during operation and even
some time thereafter.
DO NOT touch the grilling plate with hands or arms or any
heat-sensitive objects.
Additionally, especially when placing food on the prehea-
ted grilling plate, hot fat and juices could splash. Always ensure that persons pre-
sent stay in sufficient distance to the appliance during operation. Do not place any
delicate objects directly near the appliance.
Food could catch fire when overhe-
ated! Do not leave any food burn on the hot grilling plate.
Do not use any hard or sharp-edged objects on the grilling plate, to avoid damage
to the non-stick coating. Do not cut, prick or scratch on the grilling plate. Always
remove the food from the grilling plate before cutting or piercing it. Only use coo-
king utensils made of heat-resistant plastic or wood for handling food on the grilling
plate (e.g. the provided grill shovels).
The fondue forks are not suited for being
used on the grilling plate!
NOTE
The grilling plate is conical inclined, to ensure the optimal draining of fat and jui-
ces.
1. Prepare your food. Remove any inedible parts (e.g. bones, tendons, shells,
skins, stalks). Leave frozen food warm up to room temperature. Dab dry wet
food.
2. Prepare the appliance for operation (see: ‘Getting Ready for Use’). Ensure that
