SOLVING PROBLEMS
If any problems occur during operation, you will find the solution here.

All buttons
remain dark.
The appliance
doesn't react.
The appliance is not
live.
Ensure that the appliance is connected to a suitable wall power out-
let. Ensure that the wall power outlet is live by connecting a lamp.
A severe problem occur-
red.
Immediately unplug the appliance. Get in contact with an authorised
Service Centre for examination and repair.
You cannot
close the lid
tightly.
The silicone seal is not
assembled correctly.
The bulge at the silicone seal must face upwards and outwards and
the silicone seal must lie in the groove at the rim of the lid.
When pou-
ring, the lid
falls down.
You did not press down
the lid for sealing it on
the milk jug.
With the lid closed tightly, the silicone seal will keep the lid from
falling when pouring. Press the lid down on the milk jug to close
the lid tightly.
The silicone seal is not
installed correctly on
the lid.
With the silicone seal installed in wrong orientation, the lid cannot
be closed tightly. The silicone seal must lie in the groove at the rim
of the lid with the bulge facing upwards and outwards.
The silicone seal is mis-
sing.
Assemble the silicone seal at the rim of the lid (see: ‘Care and Clea-
ning’).
The STOP
button is
flashing and
a series of
beeps sound.
The protection
device has
been trigge-
red.
The appliance has been
operated without liquid
or with too little liquid.
Press the STOP button. Fill the milk jug with at least 300ml of cold
liquid and try again.
The frothing rod is mis-
sing or is not assembled
correctly.
Press the STOP button. Ensure that the frothing rod is correctly
assembled with the frothing magnet freely moveable within the
retaining tool. Place the frothing rod in the milk jug. Then try again.
You removed the milk
jug from the power base
during operation.
Press the STOP button to switch back to standby mode. Place the
milk jug back onto the power base. Thereafter you may start ope-
ration again.
The milk jug is not
placed correctly on the
power base.
With the milk jug tilted on the power base, the appliance will not
work. Ensure to place the milk jug correctly on the power base. Press
the STOP button to switch back to standby mode. Then try again.
The frothing magnet got
stuck. Solid ingredients
may have accumulated
at the bottom of the
milk jug before ope-
ration.
Move the frothing rod to and fro manually to whirl up solid ingre-
dients. Then immediately try again.
Add solid ingredients after starting operation. Wait until a vortex is
seen within the centre of the milk. Then slowly add the ingredients.
For ingredients containing larger pieces, use the chocolate basket.
The frothing rod is
damaged.
Get in contact with your vendor or an authorized Service Centre.
