BEFORE FIRST USE 

WARNING: DO NOT let young children play with the appliance, or any 

part of it, or the packaging!

 The blades at the bottom of the filter basket are very 

sharp. Do not touch the blades. Only touch the filter basket on the rim and handle 

with care. Ensure that your power supply is rated as indicated on the model label of 

the appliance (see: ‘Important Safeguards for Electrical Appliances’). Always unplug 

the appliance before assembling or disassembling, cleaning, or moving it, and when 

it is not in use. 

Do not place or immerse the motor base or power cord in 

water or other liquids or spill any liquids on the motor base or power 

cord. 

Do not use any abrasive or corrosive cleaners for cleaning to avoid damage 

to the surfaces. 

Do not place the motor base or power cord in an automatic 

dishwasher. 

Unpack the appliance and all parts and accessories carefully.
Check that no parts are damaged or missing (see: ‘Knowing Your New Design Jui-

cer Professional’).
Carefully remove all shipping materials, stickers, and promotional materials. 

However, DO NOT remove the model label.
Before first use and after a longer period of storage, clean all parts of the appliance 

(see: ‘Care and Cleaning’). However, do not touch the blades of the filter basket 

and feed chute. 

OPERATION

 The appliance is inten-

ded for cutting food. For this, the appliance is using sharp blades in high speed 

rotation. Improper use or misuse may cause severe injuries and damage. Do not
