STORING
WARNING:
Young children must be supervised that they do not play with
the appliance or any part or accessory of it.
When the appliance is not in use,
always switch off (turn the control dial to standby, press the POWER button), and unplug
the appliance. Always leave the appliance cool down, before cleaning or storing the
appliance. Only store the appliance where it is protected against inadmissible strain
(e.g. moisture, electric or mechanic shock, frost, direct sunlight) and
out of reach of
young children.
CAUTION:
Do not grasp the appliance at the group head, drip tray, water tank, or
power cord for moving. Always grasp the appliance at both sides at the bottom of the
housing for moving it.
1. Clean the appliance and all parts and accessories before storage (see: >Care and
Cleaning<).
2. Remove and empty the water tank completely. Remove the filter pack from the water
filter. Then replace the filter holder and lock the water tank back into position. Lay
the power cord loosely around the appliance. The power cord may not be knotted,
squeezed, or bent. Do not pull or strain the power cord.
3. Ensure to store the appliance in upright position where it is clean and dry. Do not
place any hard or heavy foreign objects on or in the appliance or any part of it.
IMPORTANT:
Do not use any parts or accessories of the appliance for any other pur-
pose than operating the appliance. It is good advice to store the parts and accessories
of the appliance with the appliance.
