• Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight
to be sure the equipment is in safe
working condition.
• Never store the equipment with
petrol in the tank inside a building
where fumes can reach an open
flame or spark.
• Allow the engine to cool before
storing in any enclosure.
• To reduce the fire hazard, keep the
engine, silencer, battery compartment
and petrol storage area free of grass,
leaves, or excessive grease.
• Check the grass catcher frequently
for wear or deterioration.
• Replace worn or damaged parts for
safety.
• If the fuel tank has to be drained,
this should be done outdoors.

Refuel in a well
ventilated area with
the engine stopped.
Never use the mower unless all
guards or grassbox provided by
manufacturer are in position.
Stop the engine and disconnect the
spark plug wire and inspect mower if:
(a) The mower begins to vibrate
abnormally; or
(b) After striking a foreign object.
Repair any damage before continuing
further operation of the mower.
Never modify the mower in any way.
Use only replacement parts made
and guaranteed by the original
manufacturer of your mower.
Keep all safety devices (guards and
switches) in place and working.

Before carrying out cleaning,
adjustment, repair and maintenance
work
• place the appliance on firm, flat
ground,
• switch off the combustion engine
and let it cool down,
• remove the spark plug connector.
Caution – risk of injury!
Keep the spark plug socket away, an
unintentional ignition spark can cause
fires or electric shocks.
Unintentional contact of the spark
plug with the spark plug socket can
cause the combustion engine to start
unexpectedly.
Risk of injury from the cutting blade!
Pulling the starter rope spins the work
tool when the cutting blade
is engaged. When using the jumper
cable, make sure to always leave a
space sufficient distance between the
cutting blade and the user, in
particular at the level of the hands
and the feet.
Allow the device to cool down,
especially before working on the
combustion engine, exhaust manifold
and silencer.
Temperatures of 80°C or more can be
reached. Risk of burns!
Direct contact with engine oil can be
dangerous, do not spill engine oil.
