Setting Tension
It is possible to set tension values so the
main string and cross strings are pulled at
the same tension or at different tensions.
Pressing the MAIN/CROSS String button will
toggle between the Main String and Cross
String Settings and the tension value for
the highlighted icon will be the large tension
numbers on the display.
Select pounds or kilograms by pressing the LBS-KG Button – the tension setting can be
switched between LBS and KG at any time and the tension setting will be displayed accord-
ingly. The last LBS or KG selection will be automatically retained for each Memory Setting.
To set the tension values for the Main Strings - Press the MAIN/CROSS String button to
highlight the Main String Icon on the display.
To set the string tension values, the F2, F3 and F4 buttons above the display and the F6, F7
and F8 buttons below the display are used. To increase tension values press F2 to increase
the values in the tens place, F3 to increase values in the units place and F4 to increase values
in the tenths place. To decrease tension values press F6 to decrease the values in the tens
place, F7 to decrease values in the units place and F8 to decrease values in the tenths place.
NOTE: Continuing to press the buttons for the lower place values will increase or
decrease the higher place values.
Once the desired Main String or Cross String Tension Setting is entered, to save the setting
in the active programmable Memory Setting press ENTER.
NOTE: When the Main String Tension is selected the Main String Setting will be dis-
played in large numbers on the display and the Cross String Setting will be displayed
in small numbers over the Cross String Icon. The opposite will occur when the Cross
String Tension is selected.
Setting the Pulling Speed
Press the SPEED button to display the
Speed Icon and Speed Setting. To modify
the Speed Setting while the Speed Icon is
visible on the display, press and hold the
speed button again until the speed value is
highlighted. Press any of the F2, F3 or F4
keys to increase speed value, and press
any of the F6, F7 or F8 keys to decrease
speed value in 10% increments. When the
desired speed value is displayed, press ENTER to save the Speed Setting and press ESC,
or wait 5 seconds, to return to the Stringing Screen.
NOTE: Selectable speeds are 100% (Fastest), 90%, 80%, 70%, 60%, 50%, 40% and 30%
(Slowest).
