FREE AGENTS
Sign a free agent to a team.
TO SIGN A FREE AGENT:
1.
From the Free Agents screen, pull
l
or
r
to change teams and view
salary cap information for that team.
2.
If the selected team has enough room under the cap, highlight the player you wish to sign and
press
A
.

In Franchise mode, the player must be offered a salary that he may accept or reject.
RELEASE PLAYER
Release a player from any team. Once that player is released, he moves to the Free Agent list
and his salary is deducted from the team salary for that team.
TO RELEASE A PLAYER:
1.
From the Release Player screen, pull
l
or
r
to view a team’s roster. Scroll through the
players list by pressing the
?=
.
2.
Highlight the player you wish to release and press
A
.
3.
When prompted, select YES and press
A
to confirm the player’s release.
RE-SIGN PLAYER
Take a look at the contract situation of your players and try to avoid losing them to free agency.
Re-sign them here, but make sure you can afford it.
BREAKDOWN
View all NFL team rosters by team and position. If a team requires a player for a particular
position, the position is highlighted by a blue box. Pull

to cycle teams.
