hear the pump slow down as it begins to deliver water at the set
temperature.

Wait up to 5 minutes for the temperatures to stabilize.
•
You should be able to confirm that the temperature on the Reference
Thermometer is similar to the Target Temperature. You should also
see correlation between the “Actual” Temperature Readout on the
Control Unit and the Target Temperature.
•
Expect some difference between the Target Temperature, the
Reference Thermometer and/or the “Actual” Temperature Readout
on the Control Unit are normal due to a number of factors including
error between the two temperature sensors, dead band / hysteresis
in the Temperature Display, difference in temperature measurement
location, ambient temperature, Wrap size used, amount of ice and
water in the Ice Box, etc. These compounding factors may lead to
errors as high as +/- 4°F or more. Minor temperature fluctuations /
