STORAGE
When you are done using the System for the day:
•
Unplug the AC Adapter and the Connector Hose from the Control Unit.
•
Push the door release button to open the door.
•
Carefully dump the ice and water into the sink or you may use the Drain Mode and the
Drain Mode Connector to drain the water (see “Drain Mode” section below)
•
Wipe off any excess water.
•
The Control Unit may be stored inside or outside the Carry Bag.
•
Store the Control Unit with the lid open to allow the interior to dry and preserve the ice box
seal.
•
Storage Temperature Conditions: 1° - 50° C (33° - 122° F)
•
Relative Humidity: 10% - 95% non-condensing
•
Do not store the AC Adapter inside the ice box, as there may be some residual moisture
which may eventually damage the AC Adapter.
Caution:
Storing your system in extreme temperatures (above 122°F or below 33°F) may cause
damage. Do not leave in a hot or freezing car. Do not leave the Control Unit in direct sunlight.
Drain Mode:
This mode allows a user to connect a Hose with a special Hose Adapter (Drain Mode Connector)
to the unit, allowing one to pump the water out of the ice box to reduce the weight of the
Control unit before lifting. A Drain Mode Connector may be purchased by contacting Customer
Service.
Drain Mode can be accessed by pressing the Program key and toggling through all six programs
until the Drain Mode icon appears:
