SMART Mode Programming
TMA Software is designed to remotely program RED ALERT™ Telephones for SMART mode
operation. Although they can be locally programmed for SMART operation, there is no advantage to
having a RED ALERT™ Telephone set up for SMART mode without having TMA installed.
RED ALERT™ Telephones installed in systems that will have TMA operational at a later date are
recommended to be programmed for Standard Mode operation. Upon installation of TMA, the installed
telephones can be reprogrammed from the TMA PC.
