Every time you use Gi Multix Power with detergent, pour
some of the foam and mould prevention product in the
recovery tank (G) in the quantities specified on the bottle.
This way, the normal running of the appliance will not be
jeopardised since no foam will be generated in the
recovery tank. The mould-prevention product stops mould
forming in the tank when the appliance is stored for some
time (max. 30 days) in a not perfectly clean and dry
condition

IMPORTANT
-
Fill the recovery tank (G) with 2.5 litres of water,
up to min. level (fig. 7a). To do this, you first need
to remove the top part of the appliance using the
catches provided (F).

Put the top part of the appliance back in place
on the recovery tank. Observe the direction
indicated Fig. 7a).

Fasten the two parts together using the catches
provided (F) and ensure that the two parts are
properly lined up. While operating the appliance,
make sure that the max. level is not exceeded; this
will prevent water leakages from the muffler.
FITTING THE HOSE FOR
THE STEAM-VACUUM FEATURE (Fig. 8-9)

Open the door (2) that gives access to the accessory
socket (D) and fit the quick connection (3) of the hose (or
steam iron) to the socket on the front of the appliance;
press the element in as far as it will go.

Close the door (2) so that the flap rests on the quick
connection (3); make sure that the two parts (4-5) are
properly fastened
(Fig. 9)
. This socket allows for steam
and detergent deliver y and/or vacuuming.
FITTING THE HOSE FOR THE
BLOWING FEATURE

You can also attach the quick connection (3) to the rear
blow socket (O) by following the steps described in figures
8 and 9. First, you will need to remove the muffler (P). No
steam or detergent can be delivered through this socket.
