MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT
Maintenance operations should be carried out with
the machine off and unplugged.
The boiler should be washed on a regular basis
(approximately every 100 hours of work, or every
6 months) with a suitable de-scaling product (to be
used according to manufacturer’s instructions). Wash
the boiler as follows:
a)
Remove the boiler cap (E)
(Fig. 28)
b)
Loosen the drain plug (25)
(Fig. 29)
. Drain off any water
left in the boiler and tighten the drain plug again.
NOTE
Before removing the drain plug (25) place a container
under the appliance to collect drain water.
c)
Fill the boiler with de-scaling fluid
d)
Leave the product in the boiler for the time specified on
the product label.

Loosen the drain plug (25)
(Fig. 29)
and drain off the
de-scaling product, rinse the boiler several times to eliminate
any trace of de-scaling fluid.

Tighten the plug (25)

IMPORTANT
Only use de-scaling products specifically
recommended for steam boilers.
