The  ideal  installation  location  is  a  dry,  well  ventilated
room.

The  installation  location  should  not  be  exposed  to  direct
sunlight  or  be  near  a  source  of  heat,  such  as  a  cooker  or
heater.  If  installation  near  a  source  of  heat  is
unavoidable,  a  suitable  insulating  plate  must  be  fitted  or
the  following  minimum  distances  from  the  heat  source
must  be  observed:

30  mm  from  electric  cookers,

300  mm  from  oil  or  coalfired  cookers.

For  troublefree  installation  of  the  appliance  and  a
harmonious  appearance  of  the  kitchen  front,  it  is
important  that  the  specified  dimensions  of  the
installation  niche  be  observed.

In  particular,  it  should  be  ensured  that  the  niche  is
square.  The  side  walls  must  be  free  of  ledges,
projections  and  other  uneven  profiles.

The  squareness  of  the  installation  niche  can  be
determined  using  appropriate  tools,  e.g.  a  spirit  level.

The  side  walls  and  the  ceiling  of  the  installation  niche
must  be  at  least  16  mm  thick.

All  overhead  units  to  which  the  top  of  the  appliance
should  be  secured  must  be  firmly  connected  to  the  floor
surface  or  the  wall.

To  be  able  to  install  the  appliance  safely  and  ensure  that
it  will  function  correctly,  the  floor  surface  must  be
horizontal  and  flat.  The  installation  area  must  be  at  the
same  level  as  the  rest  of  the  room.  The  floor  surface
must  be  strong  enough  to  support  the  heavy  load  of  the
appliance  and  be  made  of  a  hard,  inflexible  material.  In
case  of  doubt,  consult  an  architect  or  qualified  builder.

The  appliance  is  very  heavy.  Transport  the  appliance
with  great  care,  otherwise  persons  could  be  injured
or  the  appliance  could  be  damaged.

Transport  the  appliance  using  a  transport  tool
appropriate  to  the  installation  location  and  appliance  (lift
truck  or  dolly).

Transport  the  packaged  appliance  on  the  wooden
palette  as  near  as  possible  to  the  installation  location.

Secure  the  appliance  against  tipping  over  during
transport.

If  the  building  prevents  the  appliance  from  being
transported  vertically,  it  is  possible  to  transport  it
horizontally  instead.  To  install  the  appliance,  the  room
must  be  at  least  221cm  high.  Following  installation,
there  must  be  a  minimum  waiting  period  of  ½  hour
before  the  master  switch  is  switched  on.

Castors  are  provided  solely  to  help  assembly.  The
appliance  may  be  moved  a  maximum  of  4  m  on  the
castors.

The  appliance  must  not  be  moved  along  uneven  or  soft
floors  on  its  castors.

It  is  not  permitted  to  transport  the  unpacked  appliance
unless  the  antitip  stabiliser  has  been  fitted  and  the
appliance  has  been  completely  cleared  out.
