Step 8d: Roll out the QuickStart® Peel & Stick Starter Roll over the Leak Barrier...
The QuickStart®
Peel & Stick Starter Roll is the starter course required for the shingles that will be installed
(Figure 68). This ensures that the leak barrier is not exposed to UV degradation between the
butt joints of the shingles. The QuickStart® Peel & Stick Starter Roll is adhered to the leak
barrier and should extend past the solar array by a minimum of 6" (152 mm).
