ATTAChING ThE EXTENSION TUBE
The extension tube slides inside the small end of the
hose. Push in firmly to connect, Fig.5. If you require a
longer extension connect the two extension tubes by
pushing together. Fit the required accessory (floor tool
or crevice tool) on to the extension tube, Fig.6.
SETTING ThE VACUUM CLEANER FOR WET OR
DRY OPERATION
DRY VACUUMING
Warning! Ensure that the power cord is disconnected
from the power outlet.
For dry vacuum cleaning, install the supplied Hepa
filter. Carefully slide the Hepa filter over the filter cage
making sure the whole cage is covered, Fig.7, and
lock into place with the filter cap. Turn the filter cap
clockwise to lock in place, Fig.8.
WET VACUUMING
Warning! Ensure that the power cord is disconnected
from the power outlet.
Remove the dry Hepa filter by turning the filter cap
anticlockwise and carefully hold and pull the Hepa
filter up for removal.
For wet vacuum cleaning, install the supplied foam
filter over the filter cage making sure the whole cage
is covered, Fig.9.
Replace the motor assembly on the tank.
Fasten the lid locking clamps have been fastened
properly, Fig.10.
OPERATION
SWITChING ON & OFF
Before starting make sure the motor assembly is
installed and the lid locking clamps have been
fastened properly,
Connect the vacuum cleaner to the power supply and
switch the vacuum cleaner ON by by flipping the
switch to the ‘I’ (ON) position, Fig 11.
Switch the vacuum cleaner OFF by flipping the switch
to the ‘O’ (OFF) position.
The vacuum cleaner can now be used as normal.
Warning! Explosion and Fire Hazard. Never vacuum
asbestos, flammable fluids, such as petrol, oil,
solvents etc. Do not operate near flammable fluids or
gas. Never vacuum fluids or material hotter than 60ºC,
such as burning cigarettes, ashes, glowing coals, etc.
DRY VACUUMING OPERATION
Warning! Ensure that you read, understand, and apply
the safety instructions.
Reminder: DO NOT vacuum hazardous substances.
Ensure that the power cord is disconnected from the
outlet.
Ensure that the Hepa filter is completely mounted and
locked in place with the filter cap.
Replace the top section on the tank, and secure it in
place using the lid locking clamps.
Insert the large end of the hose into the vacuum port
on the tank and lock it in place. Push the required
attachment on to the free end of the hose or
extension.
Plug the power cord in to the power outlet.
Turn the motor on by flipping the switch to the ‘I’ (ON)
position.
Once you have finished vacuuming, flip the switch to
the ‘O’ (OFF) position and unplug the power cord from
the power outlet.
WET VACUUMING
DO NOT USE THE HEPA FILTER FOR WET OR
SHARP MATERIALS. DO NOT USE FOR LIQUID
VACUUMING.
Warning! Ensure that you read, understand, and apply
the safety instructions.
Reminder: DO NOT vacuum hazardous substances.
Warning! Ensure that the power cord is disconnected
from the power outlet.
Ensure that the tank is clean and free of dust and dirt.
Remove the hepa filter and install the foam filter over
the filter cage, Fig.9, and place the top section back
on the tank.
DO NOT use the Hepa filter for wet or sharp materials.
Fit the desired nozzle to the vacuum hose.
Ensure that the switch is in the ‘O’ (OFF) position
before plugging the power cord into the power outlet.
Turn the motor on by flipping the switch to the ‘I’ (ON)
position.
After use, flip the switch to the ‘O’ (OFF) position and
unplug the power cord. Empty and dry the tank.
Warning! The foam filter must be removed after wet
vacuuming, and a Hepa filter must be installed before
dry vacuuming again.
IMPORTANT
Warning! When vacuuming large quantities of liquids,
do not immerse the nozzle completely in the liquid;
leave a gap at the tip of the nozzle opening to allow
air inflow.
The machine is fitted with a float valve that stops the
suction action when the tank reaches its maximum
capacity. You will notice an increase in motor speed.
When this happens, turn off the machine, disconnect
from power supply, and drain the liquid into a suitable
receptacle or drain.
