INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
● The worktop must be perfectly flat (fig. 7).
● Place the hob in the previously made opening.
● Push the hob firmly towards the work surface,
at the edges of the hob itself.
In case the downdraft is not perfectly aligned with
the hob it is possible to act on the adjustment
screws (fig. 8A), and on the right side than on
the left side of the product. Screwing the screws
to raise the downdraft or unscrewing the screws
to lower it
The screws shown in fig. 8B, before installation,
must be unscrewed as much as possible to keep
the downdraft towards the back side of the fur-
niture.
Finally fix the downdraft using the screws (fig.8C).
After installation, in the event that the downdraft is
not centered with the hob, the adjustment screws
(fig. 8B) allow you to move it forward, screwing
the screws, or back by unscrewing the screws on
both the right and left side of the product.
INSTALLATION OF SUCTION UNIT
(SEM).
In order to install the fan unit in contact with the
floor, make an opening in the bottom of the piece
of furniture equal to 440mm x 440mm (see Fig.9).
In the part below the hob is possible apply dra-
wers or baskets Keep a room from the product of
at least 10 cm.
SEM10-E SEM12-E SEM16-E products have
been designed to be installed under the cabinet
of the kitchen, at the lower air outlet of the down-
draft.

After removing the four screws that fix the air inlet
fitting to the underside, (Fig.13) it is possible to
rotate the fitting in order to direct the fan air outlet
according to requirements, (Fig. 14).
Proceed positioning the SEM16-E below the hob
as shown in (Fig. 15). Position the plastic box
containing the electronic board on the bottom of
the cabinet as shown in (Fig.15).
Based on how the air outlet is positioned, the pla-
stic box containing the electronic board can be
placed to the left or to the right of the motor and
must be fixed with the screws supplied.
