Function
Set the MAC address for monitoring.

Syntax
mac flush <count> address <mac_addr>

Definition Number
Specify a decimal value from 0 to 3.
<mac_addr>
•
MAC Address
Specify the learning port MAC address for monitoring.
(It must be in the xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx format, where "xx" is a 2-digit hexadecimal value.)
However, XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:00-XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:ff is monitored no matter what it is
set to the final byte.

Configuration mode (admin class)
Explanation
Perform monitoring on the learning port of the specified MAC address, and when
movement of the learning port is detected, initialize the MAC address learning table
information related to the port that was used prior to moving.
Caution
•
<mac_addr> cannot be set to broadcast or multicast.
•
Regardless of the value that is set, the final byte is considered in the range of 0x00 to
0xff, and therefore the value of the first 5 bytes cannot be specified to duplication.
•
When monitoring a MAC address already registered in the learning table, execute this
command to apply the change and then reconnect the cable, or initialize the MAC
address learning entry with the clear bridge command.
