This manual is intended for systems support staff and operators of BS2000/OSD who con-
trol the operation of the computer system.
Knowledge of the BS2000/OSD and SINIX/UNIX operating systems is required for the ope-
ration of TELESERVICE.

Service technicians use TELESERVICE to support, maintain and perform
fault diagnostics on customer systems from the TELESERVICE center. TELESERVICE per-
mits rapid support by specialists, independent of geographic location or weather conditions
and is the fastest method of response when problems occur.
The TELESERVICE TSB component is the interface of the BS2000 system
to the TELESERVICE center.
