Switching on and off can be carried out from a remote system using a modem/DCU. In
addition, automatic switching on/off of the S120 must be configured as part of the starting
and shutting down procedure for the SKP (see page 25). The SKP switches during startup
the S120 on. After the IMPL, the BS2000 system is started using the POWER ON IPL
function of the SVP.
Information on operating the DCU can be found in the data sheet “8323 Data Communi-
cation Unit” [5].
