If applicable, connect the mains plugs to power outlets of the rack socket
strip.

To provide true phase redundancy, the second PSU should be
connected to a different AC power source from the other PSU. If one
AC power source should fail, the server enclosure will still continue to
run.

Ensure that the status indicator on the PSU is lit green (see 

"Indicator on 

hot-plug PSU" on page 202

.

Attach a cable clamp to the power cord and tighten it as tight as possible (1).

▶

Secure the cable clamp as close to the PSU as possible (2).

It will take about 60 seconds until the server enclosure can be powered
on.
